Libre Wave software is released under the GNU GPL, granting you the freedom to resell or distribute your copy, including any modifications you make. However, the audio files/samples are provided under a non-commercial license, meaning they cannot be sold.

To transfer a product from your Libre Wave account to another user, including download links and future updates, follow these steps:
- Log into your Libre Wave account and navigate to the Downloads section in your dashboard.
- Select the product you want to transfer by clicking its name, which will expand its details.
- Scroll down to the license key section and click the “Deactivate” button to disable the license on your account.
- Copy the now deactivated license key and share it with the new user.
- The recipient can then add the license key in Rhapsody or on the Downloads page of their Libre Wave account to register it.
Once the new user registers the license, the product and its files will be removed from your account, completing the transfer.
